The online ramblings of a working mum…… I am a 37yr old (how did that happen) mum of two, step mum of one, wife to one… My children are currently (as in their ages at this time, not as in, me alluding to having any more) 8months, and 9yrs.

So I guess we are all a product of our past and so I should share a little of mine. After a lovely childhood surrounded by love and laughter my later years were somewhat tougher. Lost  my dear mum to cancer at 16, and later my son’s father decided to leave this earth, when my boy was just 2.5yrs, leaving me to cope with all that his decision brought with it. Later I met & married my current partner, who also has a son of 11yrs. We were  blessed with the arrival of our little daughter last year. Maternity leave was brief, 6months exactly, due to financial constraints (i.e. we’re broke) and so i’m back at work full time & like lots of parents am attempting to cope with the daily juggle fest that is working motherhood.
